When should I book my wedding makeup trial?

There is no right or wrong answer here and each MUA will have a different approach when they like to book in their makeup trials. I’ve tried lots of ways over the years and last year I started doing it this way and I found it so much easier to manage my life and bookings by doing it this way.

If you have booked me as your wedding MUA you would have noticed I refer to your makeup trial as your Bridal Makeup Preview or your Groom Makeup Preview and I run my ‘Preview Season’ from January-April of your wedding year.

I have a ‘season’ for makeup previews which is usually my quieter time of the year and this is when I can offer out weekend appointments for your makeup previews.

Once you have secured your wedding date with me and around November of the year before your wedding year I will email each bride and groom to advise on how to book in their makeup preview and how best to prepare for your up and coming makeup preview.

All preview appointments take place at my Makeup studio in Bristol and lasts around 1 and a half hours.
